Mural Painting in Art & Design!

On the 13th and 14th December, a large group of Art & Design students set about painting the school cafeteria. A group of twelve S2 JASS pupils headed by S6s Katherine MacFarlane and Joanne Pryde, planned the project with the help of Mrs Steel, Mr Hermiston and the Advanced Higher Art students.

We spent two days painting a local landscape – a scenic view overlooking the Forth. The pillars were decorated with diverse Scottish wildlife from squirrels to butterflies. The project was lots of fun and a great success; a celebration of biodiversity, green space and amazing artistic talent! Well done to the many pupils from all year groups who contributed to the beautiful artwork.
