Sustainable cafeteria for Currie High

Currie Community High School is part of an exciting pilot project to look at improving the sustainability of food in the public sector in Edinburgh. We'll have help to look at where the food served in our canteen comes from and how we can make it more sustainable, without making it more expensive. This might include using more local producers, only serving sustainably sourced seafood, using more fruit and vegetables that are in season and using some organic ingredients.  Also in the pilot scheme are Pollock Halls at Edinburgh University and St John's Hospital canteen.  Watch this space for more info!
