Noorislam Uddin, Michael McGlade and Karen Craigie represented the school at the Eco-Schools in Edinburgh celebration event yesterday at Edinburgh Napier University. They delivered an engaging presentation of our Eco work relating to food to over 120 pupils and teachers from across the city, encouraging them all to do their bit.
As part of the event we were awarded a certificate of our 4th Green Flag by Councillor Hinds.

Bee Aware final planting
Kate, Rachel and their 'Bee Aware' S2 JASS team finished their project by weeding an area of the school grounds by the Peace Pole and planting bee-friendly plants, bought with the proceeds of their fundraising efforts. All the plants they bought are perennials so will last year on year, providing beautiful flowers for everyone at school, including the bees, to enjoy. It was Kate and Rachel's very last week at school - good luck at university and thanks for all your help!
